The Role of Mental Health of Mothers of Children With Learning Disabilities in the Relationship Between Parental Stress, Mother-child Interaction, and Children’s Behavioral Disorders

Background: Behavioral problems are common in childhood, presenting debilitating conditions that cause numerous difficulties for the affected children and their families. The present study aimed to investigate relationship between parental stress mother-child interaction, children’s behavioral disorders with mediating role of mental health mothers learning disabilities. Methods: research population this descriptive-correlational consisted all students disabilities Adnimeshk City, Iran, 2020. Applying convenience sampling method, 210 were selected as sample. instruments included Child Behavior Checklist, Parental Stress Scale, Child-Parent Relationship Mental Health Questionnaire. proposed model was evaluated using path analysis AMOS v. 24. Results: obtained results indicated a direct significant (β=0.321, P=0.0001), well interaction mothers’ (β=0.255, P=0.001). There negative (β=-0.148, P=0.019), (β=-0.581, P=0.0001). Furthermore, collected presented reverse (β=-0.360, indirect data revealed played stress, (P=0.001).
